While researching food & culture in Hong Kong, Alison Caldwell was inspired by the aesthetic displays of food that saturated the city. Hong Kong Foodscapes communicates a rich culinary tradition in the context of an urban marketplace. Alison Caldwell is a creative producer, photographer, and master’s candidate in food studies at New York University. Using new and traditional media, Alison develops creative content at the intersection of food, culture, and the politics of sustainability.
